With an extended leg and a bit of luck Talib Ghanim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 11 minutes into the match, Hitchin's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Miyaz came free, but Talib Ghanim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Qazim Qudamah kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Talib Ghanim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dirar Rashid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Ali Miyaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Talib Ghanim. Hitchin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ali Miyaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Talib Ghanim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dirar Rashid went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Dirar Rashid scored 0-4 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Talib Ghanim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Dirar Rashid came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Líbano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dirar Rashid couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Hitchin:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Líbano:s goal. Dirar Rashid succeeded in the game's 37th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-6. In the 40thth minute of the game Dirar Rashid who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hitchin's Talib Ghanim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Akram Munahid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Talib Ghanim having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Hitchin's zone, Dirar Rashid stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Talib Ghanim came out of the goal and Dirar Rashid tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute of the match Lotfi El Makhtoub sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Talib Ghanim skillfully saved the ball. Said Faraj kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Akram Munahid managed to get in a good position for a shot. Líbano's supporters rose to their feet, but Akram Munahid was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Talib Ghanim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dirar Rashid was the one to do the kick off. Dirar Rashid blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Talib Ghanim having to make a save. Talib Ghanim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bashar Al Azra's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. With a little luck, Hitchin's Talib Ghanim got control of the ball when Akram Munahid tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bashar Al Azra took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Talib Ghanim. Talib Ghanim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Talib Ghanim was a little too slow when Akram Munahid got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 0-8. Wajdi Abou Hafez hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, Hitchin's goal looked a bit too open when Dirar Rashid came free, but Talib Ghanim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, Hitchin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fawaz Fariq to maneuver through the defense. Talib Ghanim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dirar Rashid in the 73rd minute of play. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
