Croydon AFC's Hamad Muwaffaq played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yehia El Askar in the 12th minute of play. In the 18th minute Diya Muzzammil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafe Jabbar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Fouad Malik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rafe Jabbar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After some careless play in the Yateley City defense, Ubaid Basim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafe Jabbar. The Yateley City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafe Jabbar should have stopped the shot. Fouad Malik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Rafe Jabbar made a huge save. 45 minutes into the game, Abdul Jabbar Abdul Qadir cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Hamad Muwaffaq was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diya Muzzammil made a kick off. Yehia El Askar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamad Muwaffaq having to interfere. With 58 minutes on the clock, Morad Azhar commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 59 played minutes Yateley City got a freekick which was hit by Morad Azhar. Rafe Jabbar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaid Basim, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Diya Muzzammil charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diya Muzzammil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Diya Muzzammil kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Yehia El Askar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hamad Muwaffaq read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Fouad Malik hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. The supporters of Yateley City booed when Croydon AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaid Basim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafe Jabbar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moneer Aziz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
