Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Qazim Qudamah in the 4th minute of play forced Croydon AFC's goalkeeper Hamad Muwaffaq to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Masoud Abdul Qadir struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Hamad Muwaffaq didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hitchin. 11 minutes into the match, Ayoub Tayyib dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Talib Ghanim, 1-0. In the 17th minute, Diya Muzzammil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Masoud Abdul Qadir in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hamad Muwaffaq prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute, Fawaz Fariq hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ubaid Ghanim kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Hamad Muwaffaq didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Masoud Abdul Qadir went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. When Hitchin's Masoud Abdul Qadir in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Croydon AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Hitchin's Hamad Rashid suffered a sore thigh after 39 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Croydon AFC's Hamad Muwaffaq played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Masoud Abdul Qadir in the 46th minute of play. The Croydon AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hitchin were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diya Muzzammil was the one to do the kick off. Anwar Hanif received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Talib Ghanim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Fouad Malik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Talib Ghanim was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 69th minute Masoud Abdul Qadir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamad Muwaffaq saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Masoud Abdul Qadir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Ubaid Basim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Croydon AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubaid Basim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Talib Ghanim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Talib Ghanim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fouad Malik in the 87th minute of play. Talib Ghanim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaid Basim, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
