Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rayleigh's Qasim Talab started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yamen Abou Jisser in the 4th minute of play forced Rayleigh's goalkeeper Bashar Bakri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Younis Sabeeh's late challenge caught a Rayleigh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Younis Sabeeh helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hook getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Younis Sabeeh hit a great ball. Younis Sabeeh scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bashar Bakri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 11th minute, Hook's Amin Ayham seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Amin Ayham the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Hook protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Amin Ayham had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Nour Thawban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dani Hilmi in the 12th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Hook's Safa Imam got a free kick in the 13th minute. Bashar Bakri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Younis Sabeeh, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Zafar Maymun kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Nour Thawban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zafar Maymun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Hook booed when Rayleigh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nazmi Labib didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bashar Bakri came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Hook's Abdul Jabbar Abdul Tawwab. But to his dismay, Abdul Jabbar Abdul Tawwab quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Samir Qudamah hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Bashar Bakri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdul Jabbar Abdul Tawwab in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abdul Jabbar Abdul Tawwab stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bashar Bakri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdul Jabbar Abdul Tawwab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th play minute Wasil Idris came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bashar Bakri. 0-4. In the 58th minute, Younis Sabeeh ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bashar Bakri was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. With a little luck, Rayleigh's Bashar Bakri got control of the ball when Safa Imam tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Ramez Rajab in the 67th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Rayleigh's Abdul Rahman Abou Fakr. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdul Jabbar Abdul Tawwab in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bashar Bakri saved Rayleigh from getting behind. In the 69th minute Hook were awarded a corner. Abdul Jabbar Abdul Tawwab went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Hook's Ramez Rajab getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 79th minute Abdul Jabbar Abdul Tawwab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bashar Bakri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nour Thawban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zafar Maymun, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute Ziyad Omar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nour Thawban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Younis Sabeeh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Bashar Bakri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Rayleigh's goal looked a bit too open when Abdul Jabbar Abdul Tawwab came free, but Bashar Bakri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rayleigh's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Safa Imam scored to the left of an out of position Bashar Bakri, making the score, 0-7. When the match was over Hook could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rayleigh throughout the match.
