Faleh Al Sohali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdulatif Al Wazan in the 4th minute of play. Faleh Al Sohali stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fared Al Azmi's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. In the 14th minute, Thetford City's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Khalefa Mandane fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Sajid Al Shaikh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Faleh Al Sohali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ammar Al Motaire, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute Abdulatif Al Wazan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faleh Al Sohali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moner Al Shaikh in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ayoob Al Qattamy saved Thetford City from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Thetford City's zone, Khalefa Mandane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ayoob Al Qattamy came out of the goal and Khalefa Mandane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Khalefa Mandane left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dardanel FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 33 minutes, Shaheen Kakoli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dardanel FC and the Thetford City players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 34 played minutes Dardanel FC got a freekick which was hit by Shaheen Kakoli. Khalefa Mandane came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ayoob Al Qattamy could save by the left post. Khalefa Mandane could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Ayoob Al Qattamy made a huge save. Khalefa Mandane in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ayoob Al Qattamy, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 44th minute, Khalefa Mandane left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dardanel FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Khalefa Mandane stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Yaqoub Shalan in the 56th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Dardanel FC's Sharf Al Hashash. In the 57th minute, Khalefa Mandane made a precise shot to the right of Ayoob Al Qattamy. Thetford City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Khalefa Mandane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute, Sajid Al Shaikh left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dardanel FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Abdulatif Al Wazan kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Ayoob Al Qattamy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sajid Al Shaikh, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Khalefa Mandane put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ayoob Al Qattamy. In the 80th minute, Khalefa Mandane made a precise shot to the right of Ayoob Al Qattamy. Thetford City's Ayoob Al Qattamy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khalefa Mandane in the 94th minute of play. Dardanel FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
