The Oakham fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tamem Bo Qamaz should have stopped the shot. Khalefa Mandane ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sharf Al Hashash in the 32nd minute of play forced Oakham's goalkeeper Tamem Bo Qamaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tariq Sarkhoh in the 37th minute of play forced Dardanel FC's goalkeeper Faleh Al Sohali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Jarah Al Hadad kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Faleh Al Sohali. That made the score 1-5 in the 38 minute of play. Tamem Bo Qamaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sajid Al Shaikh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oakham's Tamem Bo Qamaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khalefa Mandane in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sayer Al Dekhel was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Shaheen Kakoli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oakham's Tamem Bo Qamaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Dardanel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hamad Al Besher came free, but Faleh Al Sohali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Dardanel FC fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Dardanel FC's Khalefa Mandane looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 68 minutes, Sharf Al Hashash managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dardanel FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sharf Al Hashash was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sharf Al Hashash hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Khalefa Mandane kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 74thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Oakham's keeper Tamem Bo Qamaz was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. A hard shot 76 in the game by Khalefa Mandane from a close distance when the talented Tamem Bo Qamaz managed to make a qualified save. Oakham's players were relieved. Shaheen Kakoli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tamem Bo Qamaz having to interfere. Hamad Al Besher scored 2-8 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Faleh Al Sohali, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 86 minutes into the match, Oakham's goalkeeper Tamem Bo Qamaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rashed Al Mahmed. A collision led to Oakham getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Mohammad Al Dekhel hit a great ball. When Rashed Al Mahmed came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Dardanel FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rashed Al Mahmed couldn't finish the play. The Oakham fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Dardanel FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
