When Sharf Al Hashash came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Dardanel FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sharf Al Hashash couldn't finish the play. Shaheen Kakoli struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Fahad Boland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dardanel FC. In the 33rd minute, Sajid Al Shaikh left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dardanel FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 37 played minutes Dardanel FC got a freekick which was hit by Nizar Al Khars. A hard shot by Ayman Al Gareb from long distance, 38 minutes into the match, got Faleh Al Sohali's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Dardanel FC's attentive Shaheen Kakoli managed to snatch the ball when Farooq Shrean made a throw-in in the 40th minute of the game. Faleh Al Sohali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Talib Bahroh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Faleh Al Sohali had great luck who in the 44thth minute grab hold of the ball when Talib Bahroh from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 47th match minute, Dardanel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sharf Al Hashash to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sajid Al Shaikh was the one to do the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Sharf Al Hashash got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Sharf Al Hashash recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 75 minutes, Jaffer Al Balool mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alville and the Dardanel FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sajid Al Shaikh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Khalefa Mandane during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rashed Al Mahmed really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. In the 91st minute, Shaheen Kakoli fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Fahad Boland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rashed Al Mahmed in the 96th minute.
