Morad Bo Abbas scored 1-3 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luai Al Banai, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fahhad Al Rodhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The wind increased when Fahhad Al Rodhan made the kick off in the second half. Jamel Boyd struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Morad Bo Abbas could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Luai Al Banai however easily saved by the left post. In the 81st minute, Jamel Boyd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 89 minutes into the game, Jamel Boyd was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kuwait SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Horsham AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Kuwait SC's Jamel Boyd got a free kick in the 90th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Kuwait SC's goal looked a bit too open when Fahhad Al Rodhan came free, but Luai Al Banai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Horsham AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ayoob Al Homaithe was slow to take the kick. During this time Kuwait SC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Kuwait SC's Ayoob Al Homaithe to fire away a dangerous shot which Aamir Al Rodhan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Horsham AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Horsham AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
