The supporters of Kuwait SC booed when Romanalafia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taqi Al Mofede didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Jamel Boyd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kuwait SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jamel Boyd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Romanalafia FC's Mnawer Al Srae got control of the ball when Jamel Boyd tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 46 minutes, Hakem Boften mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kuwait SC and the Romanalafia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hakem Boften hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jamel Boyd to make the kick off. Qutada Abo Al Hasan hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Mnawer Al Srae didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jamel Boyd went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Sultan Bahroh hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Romanalafia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jamel Boyd came free, but Mnawer Al Srae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Nemir Al Fadhalah left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Romanalafia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Jamel Boyd scored 3-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mnawer Al Srae, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kuwait SC's Rainer Arndt got his second yellow card of the match in the 83rd minute. The referee ordered Rainer Arndt off the ground. The supporters of Romanalafia FC booed when Kuwait SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rainer Arndt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ayoob Al Homaithe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
