Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fared Al Jarah saved Bath from getting behind. Bath's Fared Al Jarah proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Bath from getting a goal against them. If Faris Al Besher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shabab Alahli's Faris Al Besher got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Shaker Al Adsani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Bath's goalkeeper Fared Al Jarah had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar. After 28th play minutes Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Fared Al Jarah and just under the crossbar into goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Morjan Al Homaithe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 played minutes Bath got a freekick which was hit by Ghazi Al Hindi. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marzoq Al Mansor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Hashem Al Enzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shabab Alahli and the Bath players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Shabab Alahli getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Hashem Al Enzi hit a great ball. Abdullah Al Shati struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Khalaf Al Bloshi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bath. When Ghazi Al Hindi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Bath's Ghazi Al Hindi got a free kick in the 71st minute. If Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belal Al Mosawe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khalaf Al Bloshi having to interfere. In the 77thth minute of the game Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bath's Fared Al Jarah was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shaker Al Adsani in the 83rd minute of play forced Bath's goalkeeper Fared Al Jarah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fared Al Jarah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
