When Carlitos Bianchi came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Kinik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlitos Bianchi couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jamel Boyd was the one to do the kick off. Luai Al Banai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlitos Bianchi, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Jamel Boyd struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Asgeir Helle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kuwait SC. Jalal Al Rifaee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asgeir Helle having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Masuod Al Jalahma managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kinik's supporters rose to their feet, but Masuod Al Jalahma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luai Al Banai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kuwait SC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
