Feliciano Goiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascal Menza, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, Paul Ondieki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 11 minutes, Jonathan Shikanda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rich Warriors FC and the AFC Leopards players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of AFC Leopards booed when Rich Warriors FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Shikanda didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match Deepak Mulama came totally free in front of Rich Warriors FC's goalkeeper and smashed the ball just inside the right post. The supporters of AFC Leopards booed when Rich Warriors FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Ondieki didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th match minute, Rich Warriors FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroun Kiprop to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Edmund Ntalami kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Philip Sitienei. That made the score 3-0 in the 18 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Rich Warriors FC's zone, Charles Kimathi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philip Sitienei came out of the goal and Charles Kimathi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ondoro Cheboiboch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Sitienei having to interfere. Ondoro Cheboiboch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Philip Sitienei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Philip Sitienei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charles Kimathi's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After a rather tough play, Rich Warriors FC's Paul Ondieki got a free kick in the 36th minute. Paul Ondieki hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After 43 played minutes Charles Kimathi rounded Rich Warriors FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. In the 46th minute, Charles Kimathi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ondoro Cheboiboch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Philip Sitienei made a huge save. George Amanaka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Sitienei having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

53 minutes into the game, Wangui Chacha threw the ball into play from the sideline. AFC Leopards's George Amanaka quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Wangui Chacha fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rich Warriors FC's protests and gave Wangui Chacha a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Amanaka in the 58th minute of play forced Rich Warriors FC's goalkeeper Philip Sitienei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Ondoro Cheboiboch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Philip Sitienei was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Philip Sitienei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Kimathi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paul Ondieki charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paul Ondieki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 67 played minutes Rich Warriors FC got a freekick which was hit by Paul Ondieki. AFC Leopards's George Amanaka got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. AFC Leopards's Feliciano Goiz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save AFC Leopards from getting a goal against them. Charles Kimathi struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Philip Sitienei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Leopards. In the 77th minute, Ondoro Cheboiboch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Rich Warriors FC's Paul Ondieki got a free kick in the 80th minute. Charles Kimathi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Philip Sitienei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Charles Kimathi went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. When Deepak Mulama came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the AFC Leopards fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Deepak Mulama couldn't finish the play. Pascal Menza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Feliciano Goiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. AFC Leopards fully deserved thier win.
