Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jefferson Chege started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Dan Oloo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. George Okoth hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Dan Oloo took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wangari Muta Mohamed. Wangari Muta Mohamed dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Rugeley's zone, Stephen Kariuki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vincent Omosh came out of the goal and Stephen Kariuki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fletching's Wangari Muta Mohamed played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Oloo in the 23rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jefferson Chege in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vincent Omosh saved Rugeley from getting behind. If Jefferson Chege had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Stephen Kariuki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Myles Obondo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fletching's supporters rose to their feet, but Myles Obondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vincent Omosh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dan Oloo's late challenge caught a Fletching's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dan Oloo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Rugeley getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Dan Oloo hit a great ball. Jefferson Chege blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vincent Omosh having to make a save. Stephen Kariuki's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vincent Omosh firmly grabbed it by the left post. 43 minutes into the match, Fletching's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Oundo came free, but Wangari Muta Mohamed reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vincent Omosh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jefferson Chege in the 44th minute of play. The Fletching players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rugeley were winning 0-1.

Fletching's Wangari Muta Mohamed proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Fletching from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stephen Kariuki in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vincent Omosh saved Rugeley from getting behind. Stephen Kariuki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Vincent Omosh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stephen Kariuki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vincent Omosh read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Rugeley's goal looked a bit too open when Jefferson Chege came free, but Vincent Omosh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jefferson Chege in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vincent Omosh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fredrick Kiprop kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Vincent Omosh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stephen Kariuki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76thth minute of the game Jefferson Chege who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rugeley's Vincent Omosh was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Dan Oloo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 played minutes Rugeley got a freekick which was hit by Fredrick Kiprop. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Stephen Kariuki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fletching's supporters rose to their feet, but Stephen Kariuki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vincent Omosh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jefferson Chege in the 88th minute of play forced Rugeley's goalkeeper Vincent Omosh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jefferson Chege came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Fletching fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jefferson Chege couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the game, Stephen Kariuki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Vincent Omosh was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Rugeley players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Fletching from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
