Curtis Mwaura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dennis Mumba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Dennis Mumba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Curtis Mwaura, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Eliud Ereng's late challenge caught a Wakadinali's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 84th minute, John Masai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 88 minutes, Robert Kemboi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wakadinali's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Kemboi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Josephat Githongo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duncan Njenga in the 94th minute of play. Curtis Mwaura struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Dennis Mumba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nairobi Soccer Stars. Nairobi Soccer Stars's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
