Amos Kipwabok Mwangi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7th match minute, Brampton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waruhiu Songok to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brampton's goalkeeper Amos Kipwabok Mwangi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Waruhiu Songok kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Felix Popârcea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sofapaka Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Felix Popârcea took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Amos Kipwabok Mwangi to make any attempt to save it. In the 28th minute, Thomas Imathiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Felix Popârcea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sofapaka Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Popârcea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amos Kipwabok Mwangi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Billy Waheto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Amos Kipwabok Mwangi came out and tried to block the shot, but Billy Waheto slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 41st minute. Bwana Mwangi hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fred Waithaka to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Sofapaka Football Club's goalkeeper Henry Murunga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fred Waithaka. Sofapaka Football Club's Richard Kosgei quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Robert Oundo, made in the 54th minute of the game. 55 minutes into the match, Felix Popârcea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amos Kipwabok Mwangi. Brampton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Popârcea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Felix Popârcea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amos Kipwabok Mwangi came out of the goal and Billy Waheto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Waheto in the 68th minute of play forced Brampton's goalkeeper Amos Kipwabok Mwangi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute Felix Popârcea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amos Kipwabok Mwangi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Brampton's Fred Waithaka got a free kick in the 72nd minute. A collision led to Brampton getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Fred Waithaka hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Fred Waithaka managed to get in a good position for a shot. The audience was convinced that Felix Popârcea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amos Kipwabok Mwangi was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. 87 minutes into the match, Felix Popârcea notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Brampton's Amos Kipwabok Mwangi. Amos Kipwabok Mwangi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Robert Leakey struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Amos Kipwabok Mwangi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sofapaka Football Club. When the referee ended the match the Sofapaka Football Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
