Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000,
Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Levi Rutto made the kick off and thus started the match. If Elijah Keino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the game, Fred Waithaka lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Ibrahim Ngoka. Elijah Keino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Levi Rutto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Amos Kipwabok Mwangi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Levi Rutto made a precise shot to the right of Amos Kipwabok Mwangi. Brampton's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Brampton's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fred Waithaka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brampton's supporters rose to their feet, but Fred Waithaka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ibrahim Ngoka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ibrahim Ngoka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elijah Keino in the 95th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the game, Thomas Imathiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brampton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gosport United the free kick. In the 97th minute, Thomas Imathiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Brampton had played much better football throughout.
