Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Curtis Kemboi got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Silver Arrows FC's zone, Curtis Kemboi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elijah Valdo came out of the goal and Curtis Kemboi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Curtis Kemboi came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Plumpton Green FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Curtis Kemboi couldn't finish the play. Vincent Biwott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Henry Maathai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Plumpton Green FC's Henry Maathai got control of the ball when Vincent Biwott tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14th minute, Silver Arrows FC's Vincent Biwott dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, Plumpton Green FC's Curtis Kemboi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elijah Valdo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vincent Biwott got free with Henry Maathai in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If David Imathiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henry Maathai made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Vincent Biwott sent off a good shot on target. Henry Maathai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent Biwott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Silver Arrows FC's goal looked a bit too open when Curtis Kemboi came free, but Elijah Valdo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elijah Valdo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Curtis Kemboi in the 32nd minute of play. If Curtis Kemboi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, David Imathiu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elijah Valdo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Kimutai Osyanju kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. If Vincent Biwott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Harilal Owino to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harilal Owino during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sammy Cheboror hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Elijah Valdo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Curtis Kemboi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elijah Valdo having to interfere. David Imathiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Elijah Valdo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a left leg Henry Maathai saved Plumpton Green FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Imathiu in the 84th minute of play forced Silver Arrows FC's goalkeeper Elijah Valdo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Silver Arrows FC's Peter Kimathi got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute, Sammy Cheboror hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Curtis Kemboi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elijah Valdo having to make a save. In the 94th minute, Vincent Biwott left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Silver Arrows FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Silver Arrows FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
