Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kiran Damji Pattni started the match with the kick off. In the 11th minute, Gideon Kiprop hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evans Nduro during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Paris Saint German was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evans Nduro to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Paris Saint German's Gideon Kiprop got a free kick in the 27th minute. Kimani Wangila acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 27th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Hezekiah Sitienei. Thomas Obondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Kimani Wangila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Obondo struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Kimani Wangila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Warminster. Philip Mwaura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evans Nduro's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wangari Kogo to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Obondo in the 59th minute of play forced Paris Saint German's goalkeeper Kimani Wangila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gideon Kiprop during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gideon Kiprop hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Warminster's Wangari Kogo got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Paris Saint German's Evans Nduro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Philip Mwaura. That made the score 0-1 after 66 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kiran Damji Pattni in the 69th minute of play forced Warminster's goalkeeper Philip Mwaura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmund Maiyo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Philip Mwaura. Warminster's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thomas Obondo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Warminster's zone, Evans Nduro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philip Mwaura came out of the goal and Evans Nduro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th match minute, Paris Saint German was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gideon Mwaura to maneuver through the defense. Thomas Obondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paris Saint German's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
