When Pius Lukoye fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Warminster's protests and gave Pius Lukoye a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd match minute, Warminster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pius Lukoye to maneuver through the defense. Wangari Kogo struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Elijah Valdo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Warminster. Wangari Kogo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elijah Valdo having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Wangari Kogo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elijah Valdo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silver Arrows FC's Elijah Valdo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wangari Kogo in the 24th minute of play. If Thomas Obondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elijah Valdo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wangari Kogo in the 28th minute of the match. After 30 minutes of play, Warminster's Thomas Obondo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elijah Valdo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Warminster's zone, Harilal Owino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philip Mwaura came out of the goal and Harilal Owino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Vincent Biwott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Warminster's Wangari Kogo got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vincent Biwott scored 2-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Philip Mwaura, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thomas Obondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elijah Valdo having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Warminster's goal looked a bit too open when Harilal Owino came free, but Philip Mwaura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Thomas Obondo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Warminster's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Obondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elijah Valdo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 74 minutes, Duncan ibn Abi Bakr mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Silver Arrows FC and the Warminster players grew even worse after the yellow card. Duncan ibn Abi Bakr kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 80th minute of the match, Vincent Biwott got a very nice opportunity to score, but Philip Mwaura was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience was convinced that Wangari Kogo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elijah Valdo was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Elijah Valdo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wangari Kogo, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. If Vincent Biwott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Silver Arrows FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Warminster.
