Dennis Koech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Musimbi Konga in the 26th minute of the match. The Conen Stars FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felix Imathiu should have stopped the shot. The long shot by Charles Rotich in the 80th minute really tested Dennis Koech's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 82 played minutes Arsenal got a freekick which was hit by John Kosgei. Hassan Obala was extremely unlucky when he, in the 83rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The Arsenal fans cheered their team off the field, for while Conen Stars FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
