An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Odinga in the 28th minute of play forced Timsbury's goalkeeper Wilfred Waheto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Dan Odinga made a precise shot to the right of Wilfred Waheto. Timsbury's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Naftali Mumba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joseph Kiplagat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Dan Odinga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilfred Waheto. That made the score 0-2 in the 52 minute of play. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Timsbury's goalkeeper Wilfred Waheto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 91 minutes, Dan Odinga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Islington Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dan Odinga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
