Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Ali Songok had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felix Imathiu. Conen Stars FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ali Songok was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Hassan Obala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Billy Rubia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hassan Obala in the 11th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Conen Stars FC's zone, Ali Songok stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Imathiu came out of the goal and Ali Songok tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dann Ouko kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. When Ali Songok came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Frimley Green fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Songok couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute, Hassan Obala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Conen Stars FC's Musimbi Konga got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Josephat Mwangi charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Josephat Mwangi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 34 played minutes Frimley Green got a freekick which was hit by Josephat Mwangi. In the 40th minute, William Akinyi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mohinda Pinches to make the kick off. Conen Stars FC's Felix Imathiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohinda Pinches in the 51st minute of play. Mohinda Pinches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Imathiu having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mohinda Pinches in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felix Imathiu saved Conen Stars FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Musimbi Konga in the 63rd minute of play forced Frimley Green's goalkeeper Billy Rubia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Frimley Green's goal looked a bit too open when Musimbi Konga came free, but Billy Rubia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With splendid footwork Mohinda Pinches arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-2 by the left pole in the game's 67th minute. In the 69th match minute, Frimley Green was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dann Ouko to maneuver through the defense. Musimbi Konga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 76 played minutes Frimley Green got a freekick which was hit by Ogembo Kiptum. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Hassan Obala managed to get in a good position for a shot. Conen Stars FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hassan Obala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Billy Rubia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 87 minutes, Mohinda Pinches managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frimley Green's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mohinda Pinches was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ali Songok came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Frimley Green fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Songok couldn't finish the play. Antony Rotich's late challenge caught a Frimley Green's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antony Rotich helped the player get up and apologised. Billy Rubia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Musimbi Konga in the 96th minute of play.
