In the 14thth minute of the game Joshua Ngigi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Redcar AFC's Ondoro Muchoki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Evans Muttendago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Njeri Nyamau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Evans Muttendago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ondoro Muchoki having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of East Dulwich:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Redcar AFC:s goal. In the 30th minute there was a penalty for Redcar AFC. Emmanuel Githongo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dan Oduor. 0-1. Dan Oduor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joe Akinyi, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The audience was convinced that Joshua Ngigi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ondoro Muchoki was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Joe Akinyi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ondoro Muchoki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joshua Ngigi in the 44th minute of the match. With a little luck, Redcar AFC's Ondoro Muchoki got control of the ball when Evans Muttendago tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ngina Bilali kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Redcar AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joe Akinyi was the one to do the kick off. The Redcar AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ondoro Muchoki should have stopped the shot. Ondoro Muchoki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joshua Ngigi's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Redcar AFC's Ondoro Muchoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evans Muttendago in the 70th minute of play. Redcar AFC's Ondoro Muchoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joshua Ngigi in the 79th minute of play. Evans Muttendago took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ondoro Muchoki. Ondoro Muchoki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Joshua Ngigi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ondoro Muchoki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joshua Ngigi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ondoro Muchoki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evans Muttendago, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After some careless play in the Redcar AFC defense, Joshua Ngigi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ondoro Muchoki. The Redcar AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ondoro Muchoki should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. East Dulwich fully deserved thier win.
