Spectators: 8509 (Terracing: 6382, Seating: 1957, VIP seats: 170) After 2 minutes, Duncan Oliech mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dove Holes and the Erith players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dennis Muhoho came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Erith's Maurice Omosh. But to his dismay, Maurice Omosh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Kassim Roy hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Maurice Omosh's late challenge caught a Dove Holes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maurice Omosh helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute, Maurice Omosh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maurice Omosh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Erith's goal looked a bit too open when Njuguna Saleh Nabhan came free, but Siaree Amanaka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kassim Roy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Maurice Omosh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Fredrick Ruto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Dove Holes defense, Maurice Omosh kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dennis Muhoho. The Dove Holes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dennis Muhoho should have stopped the shot. Dennis Muhoho came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Erith's Maurice Omosh. But to his dismay, Maurice Omosh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Dennis Muhoho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurice Omosh in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Njuguna Saleh Nabhan made a kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dove Holes fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! After 56 played minutes Erith got a freekick which was hit by John Ntalami. Fredrick Ruto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Muhoho having to interfere. Fredrick Ruto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the match, Dove Holes's goal looked a bit too open when Maurice Omosh came free, but Dennis Muhoho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dennis Muhoho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fredrick Ruto's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Fredrick Ruto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Dennis Muhoho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fredrick Ruto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Erith booed when Dove Holes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Njuguna Saleh Nabhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fredrick Ruto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A hard shot 89 in the game by Fredrick Ruto from a close distance when the talented Dennis Muhoho managed to make a qualified save. Dove Holes's players were relieved. Wilson Khadudu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dennis Muhoho. Dove Holes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Dove Holes fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Erith were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
