Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emmanuel Kipketer started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patrick Wainaina during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 3rd match minute, Caistor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Wainaina to maneuver through the defense. 4 minutes into the match, Kubu Onyango notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Caistor's David Omar. David Omar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emmanuel Kipketer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahmoud Kipruto having to interfere. Mahmoud Kipruto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emmanuel Kipketer, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Charles Loroupe hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Kubu Onyango received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. David Omar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The asenal fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when asenal's Nigel Akinyi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in asenal's zone, Emmanuel Kipketer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mahmoud Kipruto came out of the goal and Emmanuel Kipketer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of asenal booed when Caistor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nashon Kivilu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When asenal's Nigel Akinyi in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caistor's goalie prevented a goal.

When Patrick Wainaina came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Caistor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrick Wainaina couldn't finish the play. After 53 minutes, Julius Ogot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the asenal and the Caistor players grew even worse after the yellow card. 53 minutes into the game, one of asenal:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 58th minute, Emmanuel Kipketer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caistor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. After 68 minutes of play, Caistor's Emmanuel Kipketer made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mahmoud Kipruto was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Kubu Onyango got free with David Omar in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emmanuel Kipketer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Emmanuel Kipketer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caistor's supporters rose to their feet, but Emmanuel Kipketer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mahmoud Kipruto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. David Omar made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Kubu Onyango sent off a good shot on target. Joseph Mutheu charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joseph Mutheu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mahmoud Kipruto had in the 95thth minute some difficulties stopping Nashon Kivilu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Patrick Wainaina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 98th match minute, asenal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Loroupe to maneuver through the defense. Caistor's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
