Nairobi Hanz Swanz's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wycliff Kiptanui in the 35th minute. The corner ended in Wycliff Kiptanui almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dove Holes's Dennis Muhoho did a great save. Lawo ibn Abi Bakr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Muhoho having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Dove Holes's Joseph Oduor got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute, Lawo ibn Abi Bakr reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dennis Muhoho. The goal made the score 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Lawo ibn Abi Bakr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lawo ibn Abi Bakr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Dennis Muhoho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
