Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Josephat Cheruiyot got the match started through his kick off. Malcolm Murunga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Mwai Emilio Mwangi made a huge save. In the 8th minute, Josephat Cheruiyot made a precise shot to the right of David Kagai Java. FC Jasolohna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 11thth minute of the game Josephat Cheruiyot who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Jasolohna's David Kagai Java was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mwai Emilio Mwangi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malcolm Murunga in the 18th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Josephat Cheruiyot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Kagai Java saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, George Munji had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mwai Emilio Mwangi. FC Mfanyakazi Mombasa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that George Munji was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Faiz-Kevin Mangat hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the game, FC Mfanyakazi Mombasa's Josephat Cheruiyot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Kagai Java made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Josephat Cheruiyot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Malcolm Murunga made the kick off in the second half. Josephat Cheruiyot's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Kagai Java read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Christopher Bilali received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. David Kagai Java came out and tried to block the shot, but Christopher Bilali slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 58th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Jasolohna's zone, Josephat Cheruiyot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Kagai Java came out of the goal and Josephat Cheruiyot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robert Kitur hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Robert Kitur kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, FC Mfanyakazi Mombasa's goal looked a bit too open when Malcolm Murunga came free, but Mwai Emilio Mwangi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Jasolohna booed when FC Mfanyakazi Mombasa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Kitur didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute Christopher Bilali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Kagai Java saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Mfanyakazi Mombasa's Christopher Bilali managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by George Munji in the 87 minute of the game. In the 89th minute, Josephat Cheruiyot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Josephat Cheruiyot struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. David Kagai Java didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Mfanyakazi Mombasa.
