Sammy Keino scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dario Ortle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dario Ortle came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Rothwell Park's Sammy Keino. But to his dismay, Sammy Keino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 23 minutes into the match, Adolfo Salvino notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of www.rasmutu.co.ke's Dario Ortle. Dario Ortle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 26 minutes into the game, Rothwell Park's Adolfo Salvino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dario Ortle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Adolfo Salvino scored 0-6 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dario Ortle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute Adolfo Salvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Ortle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Salvino in the 33rd minute of play forced www.rasmutu.co.ke's goalkeeper Dario Ortle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. A collision led to Rothwell Park getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Christopher Mbugua hit a great ball. Jeromos Gerencsér sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dario Ortle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adolfo Salvino went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. After the first half Rothwell Park were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute, www.rasmutu.co.ke's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Adolfo Salvino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 53rd minute, Adolfo Salvino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rothwell Park fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. In the 56th minute, Rothwell Park's Adolfo Salvino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dario Ortle. Dario Ortle yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. Rothwell Park's Abdallah Ali Bungei was substituted for Elijah Leakey. 60 minutes into the game, Adolfo Salvino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dario Ortle. Adolfo Salvino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-11. Dario Ortle came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Rothwell Park's Adolfo Salvino. But to his dismay, Adolfo Salvino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. After some careless play in the www.rasmutu.co.ke defense, Adolfo Salvino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dario Ortle. The www.rasmutu.co.ke fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dario Ortle should have stopped the shot. Dario Ortle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adolfo Salvino in the 78th minute. The supporters of www.rasmutu.co.ke booed when Rothwell Park was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teófilo Vilanova didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 80 played minutes Rothwell Park got a freekick which was hit by John Kipketer. Dario Ortle was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Adolfo Salvino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adolfo Salvino really showed his touch with that goal: 0-14. Adolfo Salvino took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dario Ortle. Dario Ortle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-15. Rothwell Park made a substitution. Walter Mutuku replaced Shekhar Biwott. Sammy Keinos short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Dario Ortle to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 92 played minutes www.rasmutu.co.ke got a freekick which was hit by Mircea Romanescu. Adolfo Salvino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Rothwell Park could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than www.rasmutu.co.ke throughout the match.
