Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ismael Oloo to make the kick off. In the 72nd minute of the match Reuben Waruinge sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Micheal Shikanda skillfully saved the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Mufasa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Ngoka came free, but Micheal Shikanda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ali Kosgei's late challenge caught a Bournemouth's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ali Kosgei helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd match minute, Mufasa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Kosgei to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Ismael Oloo managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 88th minute, Bournemouth's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Michael Nduro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The Bournemouth fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mufasa FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
