Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kemsing United's Jawahir Shikanda started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kemsing United's goalkeeper Dennis Uche, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Shekhar Biwott managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rothwell Park's supporters rose to their feet, but Shekhar Biwott was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Uche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dennis Uche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Keino in the 7th minute of play. Sammy Keino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dennis Uche came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Rothwell Park's Adolfo Salvino. But to his dismay, Adolfo Salvino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Per-Erik Hjortberg made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when David Kimeu sent off a good shot on target. 17 minutes into the match, Adolfo Salvino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dennis Uche. Kemsing United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adolfo Salvino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The Rothwell Park fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Rothwell Park's Adolfo Salvino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 25 minutes into the match, David Kimeu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Per-Erik Hjortberg. Rothwell Park's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Kimeu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Dennis Uche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Salvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Adolfo Salvino scored 1-4 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dennis Uche, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dennis Uche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Salvino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Richard Kosgei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Adolfo Salvino came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Rothwell Park fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolfo Salvino couldn't finish the play. After 40 played minutes Rothwell Park got a freekick which was hit by Teófilo Vilanova. Elijah Leakey struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Dennis Uche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rothwell Park. If Shekhar Biwott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adolfo Salvino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Rothwell Park booed when Kemsing United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonaventure Pinches didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute, Rothwell Park's Adolfo Salvino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. Neymar Mané hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Rothwell Park's Adolfo Salvino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dennis Uche. That made the score 1-8 after 72 minutes of play. Rothwell Park's Githinji Ntalami was substituted for Neymar Mané. Sammy Keino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dennis Uche didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adolfo Salvino went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-9 was the resulting score. Sammy Keino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Dennis Uche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Rothwell Park's Adolfo Salvino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-10. Sammy Keinos short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Dennis Uche to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rothwell Park's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
