In the 2nd minute of the match Pascal Omar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Micheal Shikanda skillfully saved the ball. 10 minutes into the match, George Wanjiru dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Micheal Shikanda, 2-0. Silvano Leakey kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mike Waweru in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Micheal Shikanda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Mufasa FC booed when Bayswater was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deepak Lukoye didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute George Wanjiru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Micheal Shikanda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Bayswater's Christopher Kariuki ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Micheal Shikanda. Micheal Shikanda yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. George Wanjiru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If George Wanjiru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Micheal Shikanda was a little too slow when George Wanjiru got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 4-0. Micheal Shikanda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Wanjiru in the 39th minute of the match. Ali Kosgei charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ali Kosgei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. George Wanjiru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Micheal Shikanda having to interfere. Jeruto Muttendago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Nduro, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. George Wanjiru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Micheal Shikanda having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. George Wanjiru was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Bayswater's Evans Denno got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Nduro got free with Jeruto Muttendago in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christopher Kariuki kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 68th play minutes George Wanjiru shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Micheal Shikanda and just under the crossbar into goal. Micheal Shikanda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Wanjiru, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mike Waweru in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Micheal Shikanda saved Mufasa FC from getting behind. Mike Waweru might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Micheal Shikanda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mike Waweru ran back to his position shaking his head. George Wanjiru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Micheal Shikanda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvano Leakey kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Micheal Shikanda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mike Waweru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mike Waweru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, one of Mufasa FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mufasa FC. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bayswater had played much better football throughout.
