In the 23rd minute of the match Alvise Tondi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Francis Birir skillfully saved the ball. In the 26th minute, Jeromos Gerencsér fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francis Ondieki during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of www.rasmutu.co.ke booed when Acinus City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francis Ondieki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paul Mutuli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francis Birir read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. If Jeromos Gerencsér had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Joseph Purba made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Joseph Purba kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dario Ortle. That made the score 2-1 in the 52 minute of play. Jeromos Gerencsér received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Francis Birir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeromos Gerencsér in the 86th minute of the match. www.rasmutu.co.ke's Jeromos Gerencsér got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dario Ortle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeruto Otunga in the 91st minute of play. www.rasmutu.co.ke were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
