Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Edwin Wemba started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Clitheroe's Mohammed Odeke managed to work through Kelvdon AFC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Mohammed Odeke dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Mohammed Odeke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthew Mohamed having to interfere. John Mudavadi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Wemba in the 8th minute of play. If Shekhar Alfie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shekhar Alfie's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Matthew Mohamed skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by William Adhiambo during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 16 played minutes Kelvdon AFC got a freekick which was hit by William Adhiambo. 22 minutes into the match, Kelvdon AFC's goalkeeper Matthew Mohamed had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shekhar Alfie. In the 25th match minute, Kelvdon AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascal Kariuki to maneuver through the defense. Matthew Mohamed made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohammed Odeke in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Mohammed Odeke recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Matthew Mohamed. Mohammed Odeke showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Mohammed Odeke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Matthew Mohamed tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matthew Mohamed made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Shekhar Alfie sent off a good shot on target. Matthew Mohamed was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mohammed Odeke showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 42 minute of play. Wilson Kipsang's late challenge caught a Kelvdon AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilson Kipsang helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th minute, Wilson Kipsang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mohammed Odeke was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohammed Odeke in the 51st minute of play forced Kelvdon AFC's goalkeeper Matthew Mohamed to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. John Mudavadi made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Gabriel Akoth sent off a good shot on target. In the 55thth minute of the game Mohammed Odeke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kelvdon AFC's Matthew Mohamed was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Matthew Mohamed showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shekhar Alfie in the 59th minute of the match. Matthew Mohamed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shekhar Alfie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mohammed Odeke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Matthew Mohamed tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mohammed Odeke in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matthew Mohamed prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th minute Mohammed Odeke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthew Mohamed saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Mohammed Odeke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pascal Kariuki charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pascal Kariuki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave Clitheroe a penalty, 77 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Wilson Kipsang, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kelvdon AFC's Matthew Mohamed. 3-0. Shekhar Alfie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maurice Michael Oduor during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kelvdon AFC's Maurice Michael Oduor got a free kick in the 86th minute. Kelvdon AFC's Matthew Mohamed played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohammed Odeke in the 89th minute of play. A collision led to Clitheroe getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Mohammed Odeke hit a great ball. 97 minutes into the game, Mohammed Odeke cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Matthew Mohamed was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Clitheroe's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
