When Hidayet Sati came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Aylesbury fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hidayet Sati couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Peter Dawkins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aylesbury's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Dawkins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. John Israel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elijah Nzeki hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Yoxford's John Wainaina dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. After 91 played minutes Aylesbury got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Cheruiyot. With a little luck, Aylesbury's Leopoldo Paz got control of the ball when Sammy Njoroge tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Aylesbury had won after a very even match.
