Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dan Okayo kicked off to start the match. Dan Okayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Abdallah Ali Maina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joseph Sang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fred Kariuki's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Joseph Sang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Kariuki, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Jonathan Onyii received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Joseph Sang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Onyii recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joseph Sang came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Annscroft's Fred Kariuki. But to his dismay, Fred Kariuki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Fred Kariuki put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Joseph Sang. The supporters of Penzance booed when Annscroft was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julius Asati didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Fred Kariuki notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Penzance's Joseph Sang. Joseph Sang was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joseph Sang didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fred Kariuki went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. In the 40thth minute of the game Fred Kariuki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Penzance's Joseph Sang was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Penzance's goalkeeper Joseph Sang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Penzance getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Cyrus Kipsos hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fred Kariuki made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Penzance's zone, Fred Kariuki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joseph Sang came out of the goal and Fred Kariuki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Fred Rutto came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Annscroft fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fred Rutto couldn't finish the play. Fred Kariuki might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joseph Sang. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fred Kariuki ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 56 minutes, Fred Kariuki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Annscroft's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fred Kariuki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joseph Sang didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paul Leakey went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Penzance's Wangui Eduu got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 60th minute of the match Christopher Mungai sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joseph Sang skillfully saved the ball. If Fred Kariuki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fred Kariuki scored 0-8 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joseph Sang, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dan Okayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdallah Ali Maina having to interfere. Annscroft's Fred Kariuki got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julius Asati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Fred Kariuki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joseph Sang was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Julius Asati managed to get in a good position for a shot. Annscroft's supporters rose to their feet, but Julius Asati was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joseph Sang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fred Kariuki in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joseph Sang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 92nd minute, Fred Kariuki made a precise shot to the right of Joseph Sang. Penzance's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fred Kariuki got free with Joseph Sang in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
