Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Patrick Chemjor started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Kagai Oduor could shoot a difficult shot in the 3rd minute, which Michael Komen however easily saved by the left post. Michael Komen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Pinches in the 5th minute of play. William Kirui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martin Wainaina struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Michael Komen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for sofapaka. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kagai Oduor got free with Michael Komen in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Patrick Chemjors short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Michael Komen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. William Kirui blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michael Komen having to make a save. David Pinches received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Michael Komen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrick Chemjor in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michael Komen saved Chingford AFC from getting behind. sofapaka's Oginga Birir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duncan Masai in the 23rd minute of play. Patrick Chemjor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kagai Oduor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Komen having to interfere. sofapaka's William Kirui got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Pinches recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Patrick Chemjor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick Chemjor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Michael Komen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrick Chemjor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Michael Komen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Michael Komen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Chemjor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

David Pinches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Komen having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Chingford AFC's goal looked a bit too open when David Pinches came free, but Michael Komen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Chingford AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Wangila to maneuver through the defense. Duncan Masai's late challenge caught a sofapaka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duncan Masai helped the player get up and apologised. Duncan Masai kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Michael Komen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Pinches in the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, William Kirui got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kagai Oduor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Komen having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Chingford AFC's Lucas Griffin got a free kick in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, William Kirui managed to get in a good position for a shot. sofapaka's supporters rose to their feet, but William Kirui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Komen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 76 minutes into the match, Patrick Chemjor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michael Komen. Chingford AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patrick Chemjor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Michael Komen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Pinches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Patrick Chemjor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michael Komen was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Chingford AFC's zone, William Kirui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael Komen came out of the goal and William Kirui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kibak Waruinge in the 87th minute of play forced sofapaka's goalkeeper Oginga Birir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89thth minute of the game Patrick Chemjor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chingford AFC's Michael Komen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Chingford AFC's Kipchoge Waithaka got a free kick in the 90th minute. Patrick Chemjor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michael Komen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Kagai Oduor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Kagai Oduor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. sofapaka walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
