Duncan Masai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Oginga Birir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kipchoge Waithaka's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Oginga Birir firmly grabbed it by the left post. Kevin Nduro charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kevin Nduro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to sofapaka getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Kevin Nduro hit a great ball. Michael Komen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Chemjor in the 28th minute of the match. Duncan Masai's late challenge caught a sofapaka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duncan Masai helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Chingford AFC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Duncan Masai hit a great ball. sofapaka's Oginga Birir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kibak Waruinge in the 32nd minute of play. David Pinches received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Michael Komen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michael Komen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Chemjor, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Kevin Nduro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrick Chemjor in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michael Komen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. sofapaka's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Patrick Chemjor in the 43rd minute. After 44 minutes Chingford AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Patrick Chemjor who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Chingford AFC's goalie and right to Kevin Nduro. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Chingford AFC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The wind increased when Kibak Waruinge made the kick off in the second half. When Kevin Nduro came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the sofapaka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kevin Nduro couldn't finish the play. After 57 played minutes sofapaka got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Nduro. If David Pinches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick Chemjor's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Michael Komen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Kagai Oduor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Komen having to interfere. Kevin Nduro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Chingford AFC's Michael Komen got control of the ball when Kagai Oduor tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Patrick Chemjor put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Michael Komen. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Michael Komen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Chingford AFC's zone, Kevin Nduro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael Komen came out of the goal and Kevin Nduro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chingford AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. sofapaka played a much better game than Chingford AFC and deserved their victory. The Chingford AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
