Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Patrick Alfie took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Mohinda Okoth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Team Name defense, Ben Atieno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christopher Leakey. The Team Name fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christopher Leakey should have stopped the shot. Mohinda Okoth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Team Name's goalkeeper Christopher Leakey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Patrick Alfie dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mahmoud Kipsang, 1-1. Titus Ogot kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Controller Biwott, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Mahmoud Kipsang was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Benjamin Njoroge. Joseph Muhoho hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin Kimutai Rop in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christopher Leakey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mahmoud Kipsang was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Yusuf Israel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 36 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Yusuf Israel took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Mahmoud Kipsang to make any attempt to save it. Yusuf Israel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Mahmoud Kipsang made a huge save. 44 minutes into the game, Team Name's Mohinda Okoth nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mahmoud Kipsang made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benjamin Kimutai Rop was the one to do the kick off. Mahmoud Kipsang came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Team Name's Dann Okoth. But to his dismay, Dann Okoth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Christopher Leakey was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benjamin Kimutai Rop showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-2 in the 56 minute of play. The supporters of St Ives FC booed when Team Name was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yusuf Israel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Joseph Muhoho came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the St Ives FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joseph Muhoho couldn't finish the play. Mahmoud Kipsang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dann Okoth, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Christopher Leakey successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mahmoud Kipsang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yusuf Israel in the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Patrick Alfie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mahmoud Kipsang. St Ives FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patrick Alfie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. Mahmoud Kipsang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Alfie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dann Okoth kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Joseph Muhoho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christopher Leakey having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Sammy Waithaka managed to get in a good position for a shot. St Ives FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sammy Waithaka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christopher Leakey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute, Yusuf Israel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mahmoud Kipsang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Alfie in the 82nd minute of play. Christopher Leakey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ben Atieno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Kimutai Rop's late challenge caught a Team Name's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamin Kimutai Rop helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to St Ives FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Benjamin Kimutai Rop hit a great ball. Patrick Alfie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
