Spectators: 9344 (Terracing: 7009, Seating: 2149, VIP seats: 186) Annscroft's Fred Kariuki started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fred Kariuki in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michael Komen saved Chingford AFC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Julius Asati managed to get in a good position for a shot. Annscroft's supporters rose to their feet, but Julius Asati was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Komen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Michael Komen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fred Kariuki's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. The audience was convinced that Fred Kariuki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michael Komen was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. In the 11th minute, Annscroft's Fred Kariuki ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Michael Komen. Michael Komen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Fred Kariuki sped through Chingford AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Michael Komen. Fred Kariuki's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Michael Komen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 20 minutes into the match, Julius Asati had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michael Komen. Chingford AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julius Asati was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Fred Kariuki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Annscroft's supporters rose to their feet, but Fred Kariuki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Komen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Fred Kariuki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michael Komen was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Michael Komen acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 33rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Paul Leakey. In the 36th minute, Fred Kariuki made a precise shot to the right of Michael Komen. Chingford AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Chingford AFC's Michael Komen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Kariuki in the 42nd minute of play. Michael Komen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fred Kariuki's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Abdallah Ali Maina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kipchoge Waithaka, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Kibak Waruinge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kibak Waruinge made a kick off. If Fred Kariuki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Onyii fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Komen having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Fred Kariuki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michael Komen was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. After 66 minutes of play, Annscroft's Fred Kariuki made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michael Komen was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Fred Kariuki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Chingford AFC's Kagai Ngeny got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The Annscroft fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Annscroft's Fred Kariuki looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 80 minutes into the game, Annscroft's Jonathan Onyii nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michael Komen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. If Fred Kariuki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Fred Kariuki put it in 11-0 from a short distance just to the right of Michael Komen. 89 minutes into the match, Chingford AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Kariuki came free, but Michael Komen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fred Kariuki took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michael Komen. Michael Komen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. There was no doubt that Annscroft were the better team. Annscroft's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
