After having played for 13 minutes, Maurice Shikwati managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dallas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maurice Shikwati was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jackson Nduro in the 15th minute of play forced Chingford AFC's goalkeeper Michael Komen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Dallas FC booed when Chingford AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kagai Ngeny didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 18 minutes, Maurice Shikwati managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chingford AFC reached it. After 40 minutes, Jackson Nduro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dallas FC and the Chingford AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Dallas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jackson Nduro to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

If Maurice Shikwati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jackson Nduro might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michael Komen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jackson Nduro ran back to his position shaking his head. Jackson Nduro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 60th minute, Jackson Nduro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michael Komen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jackson Nduro in the 61st minute of play. Michael Komen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jackson Nduro, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Jackson Nduro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Evans Rono took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kipchoge Waithaka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the game, Chingford AFC's Kibak Waruinge nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evans Rono made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jackson Nduro in the 81st minute of play forced Chingford AFC's goalkeeper Michael Komen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Maurice Shikwati fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Michael Komen, passed just outside the right post. Michael Komen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jackson Nduro in the 85th minute of the match.
