Solfam fc:s David Mwangi showed great skill when he stopped Christopher Imathiu:s penalty. David Mwangi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Ngeny in the 14th minute. Joe Maish showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Swaleh Chemjor, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. David Mwangi was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Sammy Ocholla capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sammy Ocholla really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, Solfam fc's goalkeeper David Mwangi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joe Kirui. Joe Maish showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kipchoge Lukoye in the 22nd minute of the match. Solfam fc's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Martin Ngeny 32 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Joe Maish showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kipchoge Lukoye in the 35th minute of the match. Wilson Kigotho hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Swaleh Chemjor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute Paul Kariuki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joe Maish saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Swaleh Chemjor made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Swaleh Chemjor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Solfam fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Swaleh Chemjor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Moses Imathiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Joe Maish tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Solfam fc booed when Strong Warriors Fc. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Winfred Bommet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Solfam fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilson Kigotho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joe Maish breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th minute Kipchoge Lukoye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joe Maish saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 minutes of play, Solfam fc's Wilson Kigotho made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joe Maish was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Swaleh Chemjor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joe Maish was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Swaleh Chemjor in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. In the 88th minute, Paul Kariuki reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joe Maish. The goal made the score 2-3. Swaleh Chemjor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Joe Maish tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
