Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dan Okayo took the kick off in the first half of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Dan Okayo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Michael Komen. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Wangui Eduu struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Michael Komen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Penzance. 17 minutes in the game, Wangui Eduu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Michael Komen having to interfere. Kipchoge Waithaka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Joseph Sang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 played minutes Penzance got a freekick which was hit by Peter Kosgei. If Wangui Eduu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duncan Masai kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. If Kibak Waruinge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Kipchoge Waithaka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Penzance's Dan Okayo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 38th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Kagai Ngeny kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After having played for 48 minutes, Wangui Eduu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Penzance's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wangui Eduu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 55thth minute of the game Dan Okayo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chingford AFC's Michael Komen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dan Okayo in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michael Komen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Chingford AFC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. George Wangila hit a great ball. Chingford AFC's Michael Komen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Okayo in the 62nd minute of play. Duncan Masai hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After 66 minutes, Paul Mwaura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Penzance and the Chingford AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Penzance getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Paul Mwaura hit a great ball. Chingford AFC's Michael Komen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Okayo in the 76th minute of play. Penzance's Dan Okayo got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Kibak Waruinge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chingford AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kibak Waruinge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joseph Sang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kibak Waruinge in the 84th minute of play forced Penzance's goalkeeper Joseph Sang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Okayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joseph Sang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kibak Waruinge, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Penzance's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
