Chingford AFC's Michael Komen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohinda Okoth in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Chingford AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Moses Nekesa hit a great ball. The Team Name fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Team Name's Patrick Alfie looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Mohinda Okoth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrick Alfie in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michael Komen saved Chingford AFC from getting behind. After 40 minutes of play, Team Name's Patrick Alfie made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michael Komen was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kibak Waruinge stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Patrick Alfie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute of the match Controller Biwott sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michael Komen skillfully saved the ball. Michael Komen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Alfie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mohinda Okoth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Komen having to interfere. Moses Nekesa hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. When Controller Biwott came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Team Name fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Controller Biwott couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Team Name booed when Chingford AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duncan Masai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kipchoge Waithaka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Team Name were the better team. Team Name's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
