Sammy Ocholla's late challenge caught a Bridgnorth's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sammy Ocholla helped the player get up and apologised. After 3 played minutes Strong Warriors Fc. got a freekick which was hit by Sammy Ocholla. After 6 played minutes Bridgnorth got a freekick which was hit by Michael Rono. In the 8th minute, Michael Rono got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joe Maish showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Kipketer in the 11th minute of the match. Gabriel Kipsos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 13th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Felix Kipketer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Ngeny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Bridgnorth's Felix Kipketer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joe Maish. Joe Maish yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sammy Ocholla in the 32nd minute of play forced Bridgnorth's goalkeeper Francis Mbugua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michael Rono recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michael Rono might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joe Maish. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michael Rono ran back to his position shaking his head. Christopher Imathiu kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Felix Kipketer put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Joe Maish. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Felix Kipketer made the kick off in the second half. Francis Mbugua came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Strong Warriors Fc.'s Joe Kirui. But to his dismay, Joe Kirui quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 60th minute Felix Kipketer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joe Maish saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Bridgnorth's Felix Kipketer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joe Maish narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 69 played minutes Strong Warriors Fc. got a freekick which was hit by George Chepkemei. The audience was convinced that Felix Kipketer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joe Maish was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Michael Rono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Joe Maish tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Bridgnorth booed when Strong Warriors Fc. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Chepkemei didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Rono in the 75th minute of play forced Strong Warriors Fc.'s goalkeeper Joe Maish to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joe Maish made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rashmikant Sitienei in the 79th minute of play. Joe Maish stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michael Rono's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Felix Kipketer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Joe Maish tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rashmikant Sitienei came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Bridgnorth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rashmikant Sitienei couldn't finish the play. Felix Kipketer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joe Maish having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bridgnorth fully deserved thier win.
