The audience thought a goal was coming when McDonald Leakey got free with Price Møberg in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute Martin Chege shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Price Møberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Price Møberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Chege's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Price Møberg made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when McDonald Leakey sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd match minute, Hurst Green was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Chege to maneuver through the defense. Richard Nduro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Nyamau having to interfere. Hurst Green's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
