Charles Wemba kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After having played for 30 minutes, Myles Khayeshe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tatooine Local Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Myles Khayeshe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the game, Fredrick Ntalami was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tatooine Local Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave George Weahs Academy the free kick. In the 31st minute, Fredrick Ntalami hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Tatooine Local Club's Paul Ogot got control of the ball when Mwai Emilio Otieno tried to sneak it across the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Mwai Emilio Otieno recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paul Ogot. Mwai Emilio Otieno showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 35th minute, George Weahs Academy's Mwai Emilio Otieno ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Paul Ogot. Paul Ogot yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 41st match minute, George Weahs Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Wemba to maneuver through the defense. Myles Khayeshe took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fumo Canuto. George Weahs Academy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 47th minute, Michael Kimutai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paul Ogot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francis Birir in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Paul Ogot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Burgos in the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Wemba in the 56th minute of play forced Tatooine Local Club's goalkeeper Paul Ogot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 minutes, James Wanjiru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tatooine Local Club and the George Weahs Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th minute George Weahs Academy were awarded a corner. Francis Birir went to the cornerflag to take it. George Weahs Academy's Francis Birir was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Paul Ogot in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Burgos in the 61st minute of play forced Tatooine Local Club's goalkeeper Paul Ogot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, George Weahs Academy's Fumo Canuto got control of the ball when Myles Khayeshe tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Tatooine Local Club getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Dennis Wanjohi hit a great ball. In the 70th minute of the match George Weahs Academy got a corner. Tatooine Local Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Francis Birir ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Sorin Capșuneanu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tatooine Local Club's Paul Ogot did a great save. Ngina Njoroge took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paul Ogot. Paul Ogot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Paul Ogot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ngina Njoroge in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Tatooine Local Club's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Burgos came free, but Paul Ogot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tatooine Local Club's James Wanjiru got a free kick in the 94th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Burgos in the 95th minute of play forced Tatooine Local Club's goalkeeper Paul Ogot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. George Weahs Academy had won after a very even match.
