Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fredrick Koskei kicked off to start the match. Haslingden United's Price Møberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Githongo in the 3rd minute of play. The supporters of Haslingden United booed when Restaurante Salento was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amos Chepchumba didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Haslingden United's Daniel Odinga got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute of the match Robert Kiplagat sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Price Møberg skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Githongo in the 11th minute of play forced Haslingden United's goalkeeper Price Møberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 played minutes Haslingden United got a freekick which was hit by Okot Akoth. Daniel Odinga kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Price Møberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Kiplagat in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Richard Israel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Price Møberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute Fredrick Biwott shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ngethe Mutuku saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Price Møberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Israel, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After the first half Restaurante Salento were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Tony Githongos short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Price Møberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Richard Israel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Price Møberg made a huge save. With a little luck, Haslingden United's Price Møberg got control of the ball when Tony Githongo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute, Amos Chepchumba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tony Githongo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Price Møberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Tony Githongo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 74th minute. After a rather tough play, Haslingden United's Patrick Wambua got a free kick in the 76th minute. Price Møberg made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Samson Kalekye sent off a good shot on target. After 85th play minutes Richard Israel shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Price Møberg and just under the crossbar into goal. After 90 minutes, Titus Biwott mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haslingden United and the Restaurante Salento players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Haslingden United getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Titus Biwott hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Restaurante Salento's Price Møberg threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Samson Kalekye, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 94th minute Amos Chepchumba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Price Møberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Dedan Nyambura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Restaurante Salento left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Haslingden United.
