Poulton-Le-Fylde's Sven-Åke Kjellbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Mendonça in the 4th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Myles Ongao in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Asyrka Kenya's Barry Benítez. Iosif Anagnostou took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sven-Åke Kjellbom. Poulton-Le-Fylde's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Asyrka Kenya players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
