After some careless play in the Tatooine Local Club defense, McDonald Leakey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paul Ogot. The Tatooine Local Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paul Ogot should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Hurst Green's Martin Chege slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paul Ogot. That made the score 2-1 after 28 minutes of play. In the 31st minute Martin Chege shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Ogot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Nyamau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrick Ntalami, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Martin Chege made a precise shot to the right of Paul Ogot. Tatooine Local Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-4. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
