Object's James Ngugi got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12th minute Evans Roy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Nyamau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, McDonald Leakey made a precise shot to the right of Ismael Manyim. Object's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. A collision led to Hurst Green getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Adah Keter hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adah Keter in the 20th minute of play forced Object's goalkeeper Ismael Manyim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Hurst Green got a corner. Object's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Victor Dadi ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Adah Keter got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-3. 22 minutes into the match. After having played for 31 minutes, McDonald Leakey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hurst Green's supporters crossed their fingers, but McDonald Leakey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Object's Ismael Manyim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by McDonald Leakey in the 36th minute of play. Ismael Manyim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Chege, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Adah Keter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ismael Manyim. Object's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adah Keter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. When McDonald Leakey came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Hurst Green fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that McDonald Leakey couldn't finish the play. After 43 minutes, Adah Keter made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Object's Ismael Manyim tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 47th minute, Adah Keter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ismael Manyim was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adah Keter to make the kick off. Ismael Manyim didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 52nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Chege in the 55th minute of play forced Object's goalkeeper Ismael Manyim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Object's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. Object's Ismael Manyim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Object from getting a goal against them. Ismael Manyim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Chege went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. 85 minutes into the match, Object's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Chege came free, but Ismael Manyim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 played minutes Object got a freekick which was hit by Evans Roy. Martin Chege recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ismael Manyim was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Adah Keter capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adah Keter really showed his touch with that goal: 0-13. With a little luck, Object's Ismael Manyim got control of the ball when McDonald Leakey tried to sneak it across the goal line.
